We are so excited to serve you in person. We are fully open for dinner, and we hope to reintroduce weekend brunches soon. More information about our hours can be found below. Please note: The Kenwood has changed to a no-tip necessary restaurant. All dining tickets will include a 24% service charge to support fair wages for the entire staff. Adding an additional tip will not be expected, but will still be appreciated.
Joel DeBilzan is a Minnesota native who brings hints of seasonal Italian influences to life at The Kenwood. Prior to purchasing The Kenwood in 2020, Joel spent five years in Seattle, where he trained under nationally-renowned restauranteur Ethan Stowell.
During his time in Seattle, Joel carved a passion for Italian cuisine. In 2016, at the age of 26, Joel became the head chef of Tavolata Belltown, Stowell's flagship restaurant.
Prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest, Joel worked as a sous chef at The Kenwood’s former sister restaurant, In Season. He moved back to Minneapolis in 2018 with plans to eventually purchase The Kenwood.
